社外品（KYB製）のショックアブソーバ。いろんな意味で？ショックです。
中古で買ったわりには、なかなか快調なハイエース号ですが、どうも高速道路なんかが苦手です。
図体がデカいので横風の影響を受けるし、所詮バンだし、S２０００と比べちゃうと仕方ないかも。
しかし、サスがストロークした後正しい位置に戻ってない気がしますし、直進してても路面のウネリの影響をモロに受け、絶えずあて舵してる状態でトラック野郎一番星号のよう（わかる？）です。
で、走行距離も6万キロ越えてるし、ダンパー（ショックアブソーバ）新しくしたら変わるかもね、って思ってました。そして夏のボーナスが出たその日、ぽちっと、したのでした。
所有するクルマは基本シャコタンにしてきた（笑）ワタクシですが、このハイエース号はノーマルの車高のままでいこう、と最近マジメに考えておりますため（S2000号共々シャコタンじゃ不便でしょ）ノーマルストローク用のショックを検索しまくって、値段も安いしKYB（カヤバ）製にしました。
これ → KYB NewSR Special 1台分（4本セット）で 22,570円でした。
で、本日３連休最終日であり且つ猛暑日の昼過ぎからがんばって交換しました。
一番簡単そうな左の後ろからまずノーマルのショックを外して比較してみますと・・・
似てる・・っていうか、同じモノ？ 色が違うだけだー。ギャー。
打刻文字を見ると・・・元の純正ショックもKYB製！！
んー、「改造したぞ」感が半減で、ショックです・・・。
でも、上記メーカーURLによると減衰力115％らしいのでそこに期待しつつ、4本とも交換しました。
で、交換した結果は・・・試運転で駐車場を出るところですでに、わーい(^O^）スバラシイ～という具合でした。
多少ゴツゴツしますが、クルマの姿勢が定まったかんじで、ハンドル、ブレーキのレスポンスがすごくよくなりました。もっと早く変えればよかったなぁ。
その後お買い物行くのに乗った程度なので、まだわかりませんが夏休みにどこかへ（未定）出動したら本領発揮されることでしょう。
近々、この状態できっちりアライメントをとりたいと思っています。
交換作業は結構大変でした・・その様子はこちら。
ただいまの走行距離 66,372キロ。
